Christmas 2009

We had a fabulous Christmas at our house and hope all of you did too!

Chaos at Grandma & Grandpa's house with all the cousins.

Trimming the Tree

Crying on Santa's lap. Maya cried and threw a fit, but finally sat. When we got home and I tried to get her to tell Ricky that she sat on Santa's lap she said, "Santa, Maya sad." The second trip to see santa produced no tears, but I got no picture.

Maya later told Grandma that the big present she got was a "toothbrush"

Maya's stash!

Joel's stash, obviously it wasn't what he wanted for Christmas.

Christmas

Christmas was nice, but fairly uneventful at our house. Maya was spoiled and got way more than she needed, because she needs nothing. We spent the early afternoon at my parent's house opening presents and enjoying German Pancakes (YUMMY!!) Then we went to Ricky's mom's house for presents and dinner. We had along, but enjoyable day. Here's a few pics.

Our Family Christmas picture

I wanted to post a current family picture. It didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but when you have a fussy baby you take what you can get and these are the best we could get that day!

The Lights at Temple Square

We took a quick trip to Temple Square tonight to see the lights. It just isn't Christmas time without this adventure in the freezing cold. It was cold, but Maya was all bundled up and in her sling and she slept the entire time, even when I had to find her little face for a few pictures. Here they are!

Enjoying the lights.

Ricky and I under my favorite Red Pine tree.

Mama and baby.

Miss Maya all bundled up and out like a light.
