Summer Fun!

It has been a fun summer so far and I have been a slacker on updating the blog, so enjoy picture overload in this post.

The beginning of July my Grandma was honored at the care center where she lives and we had a fun family dinner. I saw several cousins that I haven't seen in a while. It was a great time!

Nick and his family were here visiting in July also and we have all sorts of fun with the cousins. Unfortunately my camera didn't want to work or my batteries were dead lots of the time, but I did get a few good pictures.

Cousins

Maya got to meet her cousins for the first time this past few weeks while they were in town. She has three cousins, EmmaLee who is 6, Eva who is 3 and Benjamin who is 2 days older than her. They all liked playing with Maya and as far as we can tell she enjoyed them also. Eva seemed to take a special liking to Maya. She would talk to her and play with her. One evening I was helping my mom make dinner and made Maya a bottle and laid her on the floor. Maya dropped her bottle but I had my hands in something and couldn't pick it up for her at the moment, so I asked Eva to help. She did and then she came over to me and said "She can hold her own bottle, you just have to show her how and put her hands on the bottle." She had patiently helped Maya get her hands on the bottle just right. It was so cute! Here's lots of fun pictures of Maya and her cousins.
