Our Baby Girl's Nursery

Well we have finally gotten around to working on our baby's nursery and it has definitely been a long process. We are almost finished, just need to get the rest of the furniture refinished and get some things on the wall. I am really proud of how it turned out. Ricky and I both love it! So here's some pics of our progress.

One coat of primer on the walls!

Everything is primed except that dark green closet, I'll get to that!

Primer done! Ceiling painted! Ricky putting the first coat of green on the walls. The green was a bit brighter than I expected, but we like it!

Daddy's excited to finally be painting his baby's room!

Walls painted, yellow border painted, and the stencil is started!

I'm still working on the curtains, it may be a while before I get some new ones up! :-)

NOW HERE COMES THE FINAL PRODUCT!!

Decor for the walls, but I'm not sure where I'm going to hang each of those items. I will be framing the doily that my grandma made to put up somewhere.

Her closet and few belongings. It looks so empty, but I am sure it will fill up. We will be putting her little dresser in her closet on the left side where the baseboard is missing, it will be facing towards the shelves.

After a bit of a challenge with her crib, we got it all set up and I got her bedding finished!

The changing table will go to the right of her crib on the facing wall (next to the outside door with the window in the pics above), once Daddy gets it refinished!

I love how the border turned out. This is the corner right of the closet, this is where our nice cosy rocker recliner will go and hopefully a small bookshelf.

Of course you can come and visit! I want to see that baby of yours when she is here too! Guess what? I finally got a job! I am working for an adoption agency out here and I am so excited about it! I get to work with birth moms in Kentucky and Ohio. I start MOnday, so I will let you know how it goes!
