Maya was 2 months old on the 10th of January, but she just had her 2 month doctor's appointment today, finally. She had an appointment scheduled for last week, but when we went in they told us that her doctor had gone home with the flu, so we rescheduled for today. Although it was a pain, it was probably better that way because she started getting a cough over the weekend and then Tuesday she was really congested and had a bad cough, so I was happy to already have a doctors appointment scheduled for this week.
So today at her appointment today she weighed 12 lbs 3 oz and in the 80th percentile, Height was 24 1/2 inches and off the charts (this girl is going to be a tall one), and her head circumference is 40 cm which is the 75 percentile. I'm not sure where this girl gets her height from, but she is a tall one, no wonder she is already growing out of her 0-3 month clothes, not because she weighs lots but because she is so long. We also are going to have to buy her a new carseat sooner than later, her feet are already to the bottom and the height limit for it is 29 inches, at the rate she is headed she'll be there by the time she is 6 months. Oh well!
As far as her cold is concerned the nurse suctioned her out to see if that helped, but it didn't really and the doctor was a bit concerned about her breathing, but she told us just to watch her. They also checked her oxygen levels and they were still good. The doctor suspects RSV, so we just need to watch her breathing and make sure it doesn't get significantly worse. Hopefully she will get better soon!

I love this picture, she was just sitting in the chair after I took her picture and I decided to see if I could prop a book up by her. Well when I put the book up there she grabbed ahold of it. :-) it just happened to be our favorite mama book!
