Not really, but it will be nice to have clean carpets. So I was perfectly ok with being home, doing my thing, until Ricky calls me at 8:45 this morning to inform me that he is on the beach. A HUGE beach just 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

He then proceeds to go on and on and on and on about how big the beach is and how nice the weather is this morning, and how they went to the pier last night, and how he should have brought the camera to take pictures of the beach for me, and how he'll call me maybe on Saturday when he is closer to the water and I can hear it.

OH HOW NICE OF YOU! Thanks a lot Ricky for reminding me that you are in sunny California on the beach and I am sitting at home watching it snow last night and cleaning the carpets.
NOT NICE!! I LOVE THE BEACH! I wanted to throw a tantrum like a 3 year old while talking to him. I'm so jealous! I need a vacation, I have had one since last summer. He reminded me he wasn't on vacation, who cares, you're on the beach and I'm not. It just isn't fair. I even seriously considered jumping on a plane this evening and spending the next two days with him in California, on the beach while he's working, but I called him back with the flights I found and he told me no. How rude is that?

Very frustrating! I am so sorry you have snow. Next time he goes on a trip you should tell him he needs to take you along. I told Brian that after he told me he is going to Mexico for a week. He said he'd consider flying me to UT. Mexico..UT..I don't think husbands get it!
I'm so ready for warm weather! I've got a garden to plant.. How could Ricky go to the beach and leave his girls home in the snow?? :-)
