If you would have told me a year ago that I would be using cloth diapers, I probably would have laughed at you and told you there wasn't a chance in the world. Well I was wrong! I have become obsessed with cloth diapering and making my own cloth diapers. There has been a slight learning curve to sewing diapers and I still have lots to learn, but I must admit it is sort of fun! I've found all sorts of cute fleece to make diapers out of and Maya's stash of diapers is slowly growing. I have lots of diapers still to make and just got some new laminated fabric to try out this week. I am also waiting on some snap pliers I ordered, so I can make some with snaps (currently they all have velcro). Not only are we saving money (or at least we will in the long run), my daughter also has the cutest bum around!

She definitely does have a cute diapered tush! I envy your mad skills. maybe one of these days I will truly be convinced that they are the way to go and abandon the stinky diaper blackhole that is "Slade's diaper pail! YUCK!
My sister Missy uses cloth and LOVES it! I'm tempted to try it when I have kids of my own. I'd definitely want to sew my own covers. What do you use for inserts?
